Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Anvil Defense Systems LLC ("Anvil," "we," "us") collects through anvilds.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers the Site only. Our other website, anvilpropulsion.com, has its own privacy policy.

1. Who we are

Anvil Defense Systems LLC is a Nevada limited liability company based in Reno, Nevada. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What we collect, when, and why

Information you give us. If you use the form on the Anvil Components page, we collect what you enter: your name, company, work email address, phone number if you provide one, a description of the part, and your answers about drawings, where the part is made today, annual volume, timing, and the end item. If you email us, we keep the correspondence. We use this information to reply to you, to decide whether we can help, to send a non-disclosure agreement when a technical exchange is the next step, and to keep a record of the conversation.

Technical details. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser and device details, the pages you request, and the time of each request. This is needed to deliver the pages, to protect the Site from abuse, and to apply rate limits to the form. We use the country of origin of a form submission, derived from the IP address, in the notification email we receive.

Aggregate analytics. The Site uses our hosting provider's privacy-preserving analytics to count page views and referrers in aggregate. It uses no cookies, builds no profile of you, and does not track you across other sites.

We do not collect payment details, government identifiers, health information, or precise location through the Site, and the Site has no accounts or logins.

3. Cookies and tracking

The Site sets no cookies for analytics, advertising, or personalization, and it loads no advertising or social media trackers. Because we do not track you, there is nothing for a browser "Do Not Track" signal to turn off.

4. How we share personal information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers that run the Site and our mail. Our hosting and security provider serves the Site and processes technical details; our email delivery provider relays form submissions to us; our business email provider stores the resulting messages. Each acts on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
  • Legal and safety reasons. Where required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Anvil, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers. If Anvil is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
  • With your direction, for example when you ask us to loop in someone else.

5. Where information is processed

The Site is operated from, and your information is stored and processed in, the United States by us and the service providers above. If you use the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

6. Security and retention

The Site is served only over HTTPS. Form submissions are not stored in a database; they exist as the email we receive and in our email delivery provider's sending log. Access to our mailboxes is limited to the people who need it.

We keep correspondence and submissions for as long as they are useful for responding to you, for the business relationship that may follow, and for our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time, subject to those obligations.

7. Your rights and choices

Wherever you are, you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a use of it. Email [email protected]. We will confirm your identity in a way that fits the request and respond within the time the applicable law allows. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right.

California residents. You have the rights to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by it. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of the authorization.

European Union and United Kingdom residents. Our legal bases for processing are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interests in operating the Site, protecting it, and responding to inquiries. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection described in the GDPR and UK GDPR, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

8. Children

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Links to other sites

The Site links to anvilpropulsion.com and may link to other sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Read their policies before sharing information with them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new effective date; if a change is material, we will say so on this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change is posted means you accept the updated policy.
